Vox Suite
In order to demonstrate the full potential of the Vox Series of loudspeakers away from the hustle and bustle of hi-fi exhibitions, we decided to create a dedicated listening facility adjacent to our HQ at Harrington Mill, Derbyshire.
The listening room is 6.5m wide × 12m long × 3.5m high - a size that is representative of many of the installations that the Vox Series speakers have found themselves in. This comfortably appointed listening suite allows clients to appreciate the performance differences between the Vox Olympian and Vox Palladian as well as their respective subwoofer options. It also allows a calm exploration of the different performance virtues from various amplifier technologies.
That’s the sort of complete, addictive listening experience the Living Voice system provides – and in my experience, it provides it no matter what you play, come hell or high water. If an audio system is supposed to be a time machine, then this system in this room is somewhere between the Tardis and the De Lorean from ‘Back to the Future.’
